Job summary

Sense in Wortley, Leeds is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to help five individuals with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs live well and stay safe. You will support daily activities, promote health and wellbeing, and join in a wide range of interests and outings.

A full manual UK driving licence is required for transporting individuals to appointments and activities. We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds and offer training and DBS support.

Job description

Work with Sense and make a real difference to the lives of the people we support and their families.

We are looking for a Support Worker to join our fantastic team at the Residential Service in Wortley, Leeds.

Our service provides support for five individuals with learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, and sensory impairments. Although previous experience in not essential, previous experience those with sensory impairments and complex needs is beneficial.

As a Support Worker, you will support the individuals and also take part in a wide range of special interests and activities that support their health and wellbeing. We like to participate in a wide range of activities.

A full manual UK license is required as we have manual company vehicle used to drive and take individuals to appointments, activities outside of the home and trips.
