Job summary

Salutem Care and Education is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our residential care team in Lancaster. You will provide consistent, compassionate care to residents in a safe, nurturing environment, across weekday, weekend and overnight shifts.

You will implement person-centred support plans, help residents maintain independence, monitor health needs and support self-administration of medications, while recording progress and communicating clearly with the team.

About The Role

This role is based within a residential care home, providing consistent support to residents in a safe and nurturing environment. The home operates on a round-the-clock basis, offering a range of shift patterns to ensure continuity of care at all times. This includes weekday, weekend, and overnight shifts, with staff working as part of a dedicated team to deliver high-quality care and support 24 hours a day, seven days a week

As a Support Worker, you will be at the forefront of providing high-quality, enabling care. Every day brings new challenges and rewards, making this a truly fulfilling role. You'll be key in helping us achieve our goal of being the best in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Individual Outcome and Wellbeing: Implement person-centered support plans, promote independence, manage risks, encourage relationships, and ensure legal and best practice compliance.
• Activity Planning: Develop flexible, engaging activity plans that promote autonomy and personal growth.
• Health and Lifestyle: Support individuals in maintaining healthy lifestyles and managing their health needs.
