Job description

  • Experienced Female Support Worker.
  • £13.85 per hour / £27,081.77 per annum.
  • Hounslow, London.

If you're already working in care and looking for a place where your experience is truly valued, Dimensions could be the perfect next step. We’re proud to be one of the few social care organisations recognised as a Great Place to Work seven years in a row and we’re looking for someone like you to join our team in Hounslow, London.

You’ll be supporting seven adults, four ladies and three gentlemen who have complex health needs and learning disabilities. This home is full of life, laughter, and energy, and we’re looking for someone who brings that same spirit to their work.

This is a physically active role. You’ll be providing full personal care, using hoists and slings, supporting people who use wheelchairs and preparing meals, including pureed food and PEG feeding. You’ll also be involved in household tasks like cooking, cleaning, and laundry, as part of creating and maintaining a home.

But what really makes this role special is the opportunity to support people to live happy lives. Whether it’s joining in with music therapy, swimming (you’ll need to be comfortable getting in the water), cinema trips, dance classes, or just a walk to the high street, you’ll be helping people do the things they love and that’s what great support is all about.

This home is just a short walk from Hounslow Overground and West Hounslow Tube, with great bus links and plenty of local cafés and shops nearby.

Shifts and Working Pattern

We offer full-time roles with shifts from 7am–2:30pm, 2pm–9:30pm, and occasional long days. You’ll work alternate weekends.

Benefits of Working with Dimensions

  • Competitive pay rate, with uplift for any overtime you choose to work.
  • 30 days paid annual leave, rising to 35 (including public holidays – pro rata).
  • Award-winning career development and genuine opportunities for progression.
  • High Street Discounts – including supermarkets, restaurants, pubs, and cinemas.
  • Life Assurance and a Company Pension Scheme.
  • Industry-leading training, including specialist support.
