Job description

If you are looking to further your career and support individuals with learning disabilities and forensic backgrounds, join our warm and diverse team at Strawberry Gardens, Heysham. With ample support from our approachable management team, Creative Support provides a fantastic environment for career growth.

Our Heysham Project supports six individuals in self-contained flats. They have diverse needs, including learning disabilities, mental health conditions, forensic backgrounds and some challenging behaviours. New starters receive thorough training and shadow shifts with experienced team members.

Service users enjoy a variety of community activities such as bingo, outings, shopping, bike rides, cinema visits, and holidays. As a support worker, you will assist individuals in achieving their personal goals and living full, worthwhile lives. This role involves promoting choice, healthy lifestyles, cooking, community engagement and family support.
