What You’ll Do:

As a Female Support Worker, you’ll play a vital role in improving the lives of those you care for. Your duties may include:

  • Providing compassionate personal care – Assisting with dressing, mobility, and daily tasks.
  • Encouraging independence – Supporting service users to engage in physical and social activities.
  • Promoting well-being – Helping clients stay active through mobility support and engaging activities.
  • Ensuring a safe environment – Following care plans and maintaining a high standard of care.

About this role

As part of this role, you will be assisting service users with learning disabilities, autism, and other complex needs. You will help them with socialising and attending community activities, life skills such as shopping and money management and will be providing physical support.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience – 6+ months of paid UK care experience within the past 3 years.
  • Registration – If applying in Scotland, Wales, or Northern Ireland, you’ll need the relevant SSSC, SCW, or NISCC registration (not required in England).
  • Experience – Ability to support clients in a supported living setting
  • Driving – You will need to be a driver for this role.
  • Training – Autism Awareness, Dysphagia and Epilepsy training is needed.
  • Qualities – A compassionate nature, professionalism, and teamwork skills.
  • Skills – Ability to support clients with personal care, mobility, and daily activities.
