Job summary

Creative Support Ltd in Gateshead is seeking a warm, reliable and proactive Support Worker to join our friendly team. You will provide person-centred care to people with mental health needs, administer medication, and work independently when required.

You will encourage participation in social activities, build trusting relationships with service users and their families, and support them to express preferences and make choices, with full training provided.

Qualifications

• No previous care experience required; passion for person-centred care.
• Willingness to learn and participate in training at Creative Support Academy.
• Ability to administer medication and work alone when needed.

Are you looking for a diverse role that is fun, stimulating and rewarding every day? Creative Support is looking for a warm, reliable and proactive Support Worker to join our friendly staff team in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear. Here we provide quality care and support to people with mental health needs.

No two days will be the same at this service as we support our service users to follow their passions, enhance their confidence and coping abilities along side fun activities.

Your role will include:

• Providing person centred care, administering medication and lone working

No previous care experience is needed, just a passion for providing person-centred care and support and working in a bright, friendly environment! Full training is provided by our Creative Support Training Academy.
