Job description

Are you a caring individual living in the Faringdon area looking for a role where you can give back to those living in your community? We're recruiting Support Workers to join our team at our brand new Extra Care Scheme, Fern Meadows, opening in October 2025.

Fern Meadows is located in the town of Faringdon, surrounded by beautiful greenery. It is an Extra Care development comprising 60 one- and two-bedroom apartments. Residents enjoy the privacy of their own stylish home and have access to facilities such as a communal lounge, hair salon, restaurant, activity room, buggy store, guest room, and landscaped gardens.

What will I be doing as a Support Worker?

As a Support Worker, you will work with residents to promote independent living within the service and the local community by:

• Supporting with personal care tasks including washing, dressing, etc.
• Supporting with medication administration
• Supporting with meal preparation
• Supporting with accessing the local community, e.g., shopping, activities, trips
• Supporting with day-to-day household duties
• Supporting with other daily routines of our clients

Shifts Available

This is a new service, and we have a range of Full-Time, Part-Time, and Night Wake positions available. Successful candidates should be able to work alternate weekends.
