About The Role

We are currently looking to grow our already established and dedicated team of support workers at Choice Support. We provide specialist support and care to people with a wide range of needs, including learning disabilities, physical disabilities, and complex mental health needs.

You will help make a real difference in people's lives by supporting with everyday tasks to promote independence. This includes assisting with cooking, cleaning, shopping, health appointments, and personal care. You will also engage in community activities such as walks, swimming, zoo visits, arts and crafts clubs, and holidays.

You do not need to be a driver, and on-the-job training is provided, although some experience would be desirable. Good clear communication skills are essential, especially for supporting individuals who are hard of hearing.

Hours

One part-time position available: 30 hours per week.

Shifts typically include: 9:30am-10pm, 7am-1pm, 1pm-10pm, and 10am-6pm on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Location

This service is located in Herne Bay, a beautiful seaside town. There is a nearby bus stop and underground parking for cars.
