Support Worker – Learning Disability Service

Location: Glenholme, Hightrees, Enfield, EN2 9AA

Hours: Full-time opportunities available, up to 37.5 hours per week

Hourly Rate: £12.25 - £12.45 per hour + Paid Training + Health & Wellbeing Benefits + Career Development Opportunities

Competitive Salary Progression

  • £12.35 per hour upon completion of a fully funded Care Certificate
  • £12.45 per hour upon completion of a fully funded Level 2-3 NVQ qualification

What You’ll Do

As a Support Worker, you will help individuals with learning disabilities lead fulfilling and independent lives by promoting choice, inclusion, and dignity.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Providing companionship and emotional support
  • Assisting with personal care and daily living tasks
  • Teaching and encouraging independent living skills
  • Supporting individuals with medication management
  • Facilitating community-based activities such as swimming, social events, and leisure outings

  • Previous experience working with learning disabilities and mental health (essential)
  • A compassionate and patient approach to care
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A commitment to supporting independence and dignity
