Overview

Support Worker (part time) Dronfield - £12.34 per hour

Typical Shifts: Mornings 07:30-14:30 & Afternoons 14:30-21:30 and nights when required

We’re on the hunt for genuinely caring, hands-on Support Workers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support. As a support worker, you will help people gain more independence in their daily lives, while working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people.

What you’ll do

At our Cecil Road residential service in Dronfield you’ll be in a welcoming and friendly environment that offers variety each day. You’ll:

  • Enhance the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills
  • Assist with personal care
  • Encourage access to local communities, socialise, and participate in activities
  • Support up to six people with autism, moderate learning disabilities, Tourette’s syndrome and associated challenging behaviours
  • Help people experience activities tailored to their individual interests (e.g., gardening, visits to attractions, cinema, discos, outings)

This is an amazing role for someone looking to make a real difference and help individuals grow in confidence and independence to meet their goals, such as cooking dinner independently or going on holiday.
