Job Description: Female Personal Care Assistant

This vacancy is for a female care personal assistant to join our client’s support package, supporting them in their own home for 12 hours per week. We will be your legal employer on behalf of the client, and you will not be asked to support other clients. All our contracts are for permanent positions with a 6-month probationary period.

We are seeking a part-time female personal care assistant for a young man with special needs, autism, and limited mobility. The role requires working on Mondays and Fridays, 6 hours each day, with flexibility to cover additional shifts as needed.

About the Client and Support Needed:

Our client lives at home with his family in the Driffield area. You will support him at home in his rural setting. He enjoys cooking, baking, crafts, drawing, board games, pool, riding his scooter, photography, animals, wildlife, shopping, and collecting Marvel and DC memorabilia.

Support includes some personal care (no moving and handling involved), meal preparation, loading and unloading his scooter into the van, cleaning, tidying, and making sure his living spaces are sanitized due to his brittle asthma. When out, you will ensure his safety and well-being, creating engaging activities suited to his abilities to make his life fun and interesting.
