Job summary

CCH is seeking care professionals to join the Complex Care team in Detling near Maidstone. The role involves supporting a young adult with acquired brain injury, including PEG feeds, medication administration, and monitoring for seizures.

Applicants should have clear communication, and a full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle is essential due to location and transport links. Prior experience with complex care is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Clear communication skills are essential.
• Full valid UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle due to location.
• Experience with intermittent catheter care, suctioning machines or PEJs is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Administer PEG feeds (PEJ) and medications as required.
• Monitor the client’s condition for seizures and report changes.
• Provide complex care for a young adult with brain injury in a home setting.

Job Description

What you'll do

The client is a young adult who has an acquired brain injury and is non-verbal, and due to this, the client would require several complex needs that need to be met, such as:

• PEG feeds (PEJ)
• Medication Administration
• Monitoring the client's condition for seizures.

Also please be aware that the client does have two dogs in the home and loves anyone who has a bubbly personality, keen to wear bright clothing and is a very clear communicator.

Qualifications

What you'll need

Experience in the following would be extremely advantageous for your application:

• Intermittent catheter care.
• Suctioning machines.
• PEJs

The only essential requirements is as follows:

Clear Communication Skills.

A full valid UK driving licence with access to your own vehicle, due to the location and transport links.
