Support Worker Position

As a Support Worker, you will work as a team member to ensure a safe, supportive, and caring environment that meets the individual and group needs of residents. You will demonstrate a positive and person-centred approach at all times.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Working effectively as part of the staff team and communicating effectively.
2. Offering support to service users on an individual basis.
3. Undertaking flexible working arrangements based on service users' needs.
4. Participating in planning, delivering, and reviewing care plans with each service user.
5. Providing practical and emotional support to service users.
6. Respecting the rights of service users in accordance with the Human Rights Act and Mental Capacity Act 2005.
7. Supporting service users in their decision-making processes.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a Support Worker role or similar.
• Ability to work effectively and supportively.
• Ability to work in an organized and methodical manner.
• Enhanced DBS check within the last 12 months or willingness to complete one.
• If you do not currently hold an enhanced DBS, you must be willing to obtain one.
