Job summary

Brighthire Recruitment is seeking experienced Support Workers to join our temporary team in Ongar, Essex. You will support adults with learning disabilities, autistic adults, and people with complex needs to live as independently as possible. Competitive hourly pay and flexible shifts are offered.

Training and DBS assistance provided. Roles include day, night and sleep-in shifts across Essex with weekly pay and ongoing temporary assignments to fit your schedule.

Qualifications

• At least six months of UK care experience.
• Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities and/or autistic adults.
• Experience or confidence supporting people who may display behaviours that challenge.
• A calm, caring and reliable approach.
• Good communication skills.
• Must be aged 18 or over.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is preferred. If you do not have a suitable current DBS, we can discuss the process for obtaining a new one.

Responsibilities

• Supporting people with daily routines and activities.
• Promoting independence and supporting day-to-day tasks.
• Providing personal care and assisting with manual handling where required.
• Supporting people who may display behaviours that challenge.
• Following care plans and keeping records up to date.
• Working as part of a team to provide consistent support.
• Building positive and respectful relationships.

Support Worker - Temporary Ongoing

Location: Ongar, Essex

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Brighthire Recruitment is looking for experienced Support Workers to join our temporary team.

We have ongoing work supporting adults with learning disabilities, autistic adults and people with complex needs.

Flexible Hours Available

Whether you are looking for a few shifts alongside another job or your studies, or regular full-time hours, we have opportunities to suit different availability.

Part-time and full-time hours

About the Role

You will support adults with learning disabilities, autistic adults and people with complex needs to live as independently as possible. You will provide person-centred support based on each person's individual needs.
