I’m looking for a super cool grown-up to join my awesome team within my home in Tiverton, as a Support Worker and Role Model. You’d help me feel safe, cared for, and help me grow into the best version of me (like a superhero but with fun and kindness).
The team are already pretty amazing; they won a Special Recognition Award at the Heart Awards and were runners-up in 2024 for the National Children & Young People Awards. Guess what? They got recognised again in 2025, along with one of my favourite team members who has been nominated as Residential Support Worker of the year! So, you’d be joining a team that’s not just brilliant, but also sparkly with awards.
Anyways, a bit about me, I love skateboarding and cycling, especially when the wind rushes past my face. Swimming is one of my favourite things to do, and I really enjoy going to the cinema to watch new films with popcorn in hand. Country walks are the best right now, the leaves are crunchy, the air smells fresh, and the trees look like they’re wearing golden coats.
When I’m not out and about, I really enjoy looking after my guinea pigs who squeak a lot, and I’ve just got chickens, which is very exciting. They’re funny and curious and make the days more interesting, especially when they escape and the team are running around chasing them, this really makes me laugh.
If you like adventures, animals, and helping kids like me feel safe and happy, then maybe you’re the person I’ve been waiting for. Come and be part of my world, it’s full of fun, kindness, and lots of laughs. But I want you to know that I do have bad days. I’ve been through a lot, and sometimes that makes me feel sad, angry, or confused. Those big feelings can come out in ways I don’t always understand or control. On those days, I need someone who gets that I’m not being difficult, I’m just trying to cope.
