Job summary

TTL Recruit Ltd is expanding our team to recruit reliable, compassionate Support Workers to assist individuals across a range of care services.

If you seek flexible agency work, weekends or evenings, we'd love to hear from you and fit shifts to your availability.

As a Support Worker, you’ll help people live safely and independently, provide personal care when needed, support meals and activities, and maintain dignity and confidentiality. DBS and care training are required.

Qualifications

  • Previous UK experience in health or social care is preferred
  • A genuine passion for supporting others
  • Good communication skills
  • Professional and reliable approach
  • Confidence working as part of a team
  • Ability to adapt to different services and individuals
  • Understanding safeguarding, dignity and person-centred care
  • Flexibility to work a mixture of shifts
  • An Enhanced DBS and relevant care training will be required as part of our compliance process.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting individuals with day-to-day routines
  • Providing personal care where required
  • Supporting independence and encouraging individual choice
  • Assisting with meals and daily living activities
  • Supporting individuals with social activities and community access
  • Providing emotional reassurance and companionship
  • Following individual care and support plans
  • Accurately completing notes and documentation
  • Reporting concerns or changes appropriately
  • Working alongside permanent staff and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintaining dignity, respect and confidentiality at all times

The Role

As a Support Worker, you'll play an important part in helping the people you support live safely, confidently and as independently as possible.

Depending on the service and individuals you're supporting, your responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting individuals with their day-to-day routines
