Almond Care Services is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our in-person caregiving team. You will mentor and teach individuals, support children and adults with complex needs, and help them with daily activities in a compassionate home-care setting.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children or individuals with complex needs is desirable.
  • Experience with ADHD and mental health.

Duties

Experience
  • Previous experience working with children or individuals with complex needs is highly desirable.
  • Experience with ADHD and mental health.
  • Experience with challenging behaviour.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and teach others in a supportive manner.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and their families.
  • Knowledge of health and safety protocols relevant to caregiving environments.
  • Compassionate attitude combined with patience, reliability, and professionalism.
