Job description

Service Care Solutions has a new and exciting opportunity available for a Support Worker with Bury Council.

Bury Council is currently seeking individuals willing to work 37 hours per week, including 20 hours in evening shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing person-centred therapeutic and creative solutions to assist recovery, encourage independence, and promote self-management, thereby reducing dependence on services.
• Contributing to the delivery, evaluation, and adjustment of goal plans to maximize independence outcomes and meet objectives within specified timelines.
• Working proactively in partnership with colleagues from health and other professional agencies.

Requirements:

• Must hold a UK driving licence and have valid business insurance.
• Must have completed training in Moving & Handling of People, Food Hygiene, Health and Safety, Emergency First Aid, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, and GDPR.
