Job summary

TipTopJob is recruiting a dedicated Support Worker for a care home in the Bungay/Ditchingham area. You will help residents with daily tasks, personal care, and companionship, ensuring a safe and dignified living environment.

The role requires an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent, with full-time hours (36 per week) on day shifts and a competitive £13.45 per hour plus benefits including pension, training, and recognition schemes.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent required.
• Experience in a care setting preferred.
• Good communication and teamwork skills required.

Responsibilities

• Promote wellbeing and provide high-quality care to residents.

An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a motivated Support Worker to work in an exceptional care home based in the Ditchingham, Bungay area. You will be working for one of UKs leading health care providers
This care home provides support for people with learning disabilities and complex needs who would benefit from living in a more peaceful setting
To be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
As a Support Worker Your Key Duties Include

• Be an essential part of the team, promoting the well:being and providing the highest quality of care to residents
• Assist with daily tasks, inclusive of all personal care assistance from supporting with personal hygiene, through to days out and companionship
• Encourage independence, well:being and supporting vulnerable individuals with their daily routines and activities
• Ensure accurate record keeping at all times

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for this position:

• Have a genuine desire to care for others

• Good verbal and written communication skills

Benefits
The successful Support Worker will receive an excellent salary of GBP13.45 per hour and the annual salary of GBP25,178.40 per annum.
