The National Autistic Society is looking for Support Workers to join their Bristol Outreach Service. This part-time role involves supporting autistic adults to enhance their independence and community inclusion. Candidates must be able to drive, with a commitment to providing flexible support tailored to individual needs.
We support people to understand their diagnosis and how this may impact on their life and the lives of those around them. Our residential services provide accommodation and supportfor autistic adults 52 weeks a year, 24 hours a day in urban and rural settings. We also provide supported living services for autistic adults who need extra help to live in their own homes or within our accommodation, whether as tenants or owner occupiers, living alone, or with others.
We have come a long way but there is still so much to do to increase opportunities, reduce social isolation and build a brighter future for people on the spectrum. With your help, we can make it happen.

Who we are looking for:
We are looking for Support Workers to join our friendly team at our Bristol Outreach Service. Bristol Outreach is one of our south west based services where we support autistic adults in their own homes and communities to develop skills that promote their health and wellbeing, inclusion in their local community and greater independence. Please note for this role you must be able to drive and have a car you can use while working. Your working pattern in this role will require flexibility to meet the needs of the people supported and their families, and will include evening and weekend working.
This advert is for a part-time position of 17 Hours. The salary for this position is £10,794 per annum
Possession of a valid and current driving licence is essential

To protect our autistic adults, all staff are required to have a criminal background check. Possession of an Enhanced DBS Check either on the Update Service or conducted within the last 12 months would be preferable but not essential.
