Job description

Job Title: Support Worker

Location: Bovey Tracey

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full Time, Part Time & Relief

Salary: £12.33 per hour

Additional Information: Full UK driving licence is preferred but not essential. Note: Unfortunately, we are unable to offer sponsorships for international applicants or candidates currently working in the UK on a sponsored visa, as we cannot assist with renewal upon expiry.

Your role will involve supporting 4 individuals with a learning disability to achieve their personal objectives and deliver complex health support within a community setting in a 24-hour supported living environment. As a support worker, you will be part of an inclusive team empowered to create innovative ways to support individuals in living the lives they choose, including accessing community activities, daily living, and wellbeing support.

The ideal candidate will enjoy activities such as swimming, gardening, and sourcing new and exciting activities. You will also play a vital role in supporting individuals to maintain good relationships with their families. If you are caring, committed, and compassionate about making a difference, we would love to hear from you. Full training, induction, and shadowing will be provided and are paid.

Requirements:

  • Driving licence is essential
  • This role involves working weekends and awake nights on a rota system
