We are seeking a Female Support Worker for our modern, bright, and well-equipped environment based in Borrowash, just outside Derby.

At Paxton House, we support individuals aged 18-35 with various needs, including learning disabilities, challenging behaviors, non-verbal communication, and autistic spectrum disorders.

Responsibilities:
  • Promoting independence through personal care, cooking, cleaning, key working, and life skills
  • Organizing in-house activities like baking, arts and crafts, sensory activities, reading
  • Facilitating outdoor activities such as walking, swimming, golf, social outings, and keeping in touch with families
  • Shifts include hours between 7am-9pm, sleep-ins, some night shifts, and rotating weekends; flexibility is essential
