Job summary

Aldingbourne Trust in Bognor Regis is seeking a passionate Support Worker to join our Supported Living Project near Felpham.

You will help tenants manage day‑to‑day life, support with personal care and medication, encourage independence, and build trusting relationships to make a real difference. Full‑time and part‑time hours are available, with sleep‑in pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for helping people develop independence skills.
• Excellent communication and people skills are essential.
• Experience working with people with learning disabilities and/or autism is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to plan weekly shopping and daily living tasks.
• Assist with home tasks such as cooking, cleaning and personal routines.
• Encourage independence, confidence and new experiences for tenants.
• Support with personal care and medication administration as required.
• Build strong, trusting relationships to make a real difference.

Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours) and part-time hours available
Salary: £25,307.10 full time equivalent, pro rata for part-time hours, plus sleep in are paid as an additional payment

The Aldingbourne Trust are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Support Worker to join our friendly team at our Supported Living Project near Felpham, Bognor Regis.

Our tenants live in their own accommodation in our newly renovated community space, situated around a beautiful courtyard with access to gardens, laundry, craft room and communal kitchen-diner. The individual tenancies are made up of flats, and cottages, with own living spaces/kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. Your role will be to help the people we support manage their day-to-day lives, live independently and realize their dreams.

This role requires flexibility and hours to cover Weekday Evenings and Weekends, Bank Holidays and Sleep-In. This project offers a newly renovated sleep-in accommodation, with location security cameras.

What you’ll be doing

Every day brings something different. You might be:

• Supporting someone to plan their weekly shop
• Helping someone manage their home — cooking, cleaning, or daily tasks
• Encouraging independence, confidence, and new experiences
• Supporting with personal care and medication
• Building strong, trusting relationships that make a real difference
