Support Worker
Location: Blackpool, North West
Hours: 2 posts available: 24 hours a week, flexible shifts and 24 hours a week nights
Pay: £14.00 to £14.50 per hour

The role of this Personal Care Assistant
Our personal care assistants join our client’s support team, providing reliable, essential care and support in their home. You will be employed by HomeCareDirect on behalf of the client and your focus will be to support them only.
There are two posts available, both for 24 hours a week, one is to work flexibly across the week and the other is for night shifts. Your shifts will be allocated on a rota basis, as needed for the client.
Pay rates are broken down as follows:
Monday to Friday 8am - 8pm: £14.00
Monday to Friday 8pm - 8am: £14.75
Saturday and Sunday 8am - 8pm: £14.50
Saturday and Sunday 8pm - 8am: £15.00
About the Client and Duties
Our client is a non-verbal 20 year old man with complex disabilities and needs. He is lively, joyful and loves music and being silly. He is looking for a friendly person to join his care team who can keep him upbeat and smiling.
Support is required with personal care, medication, moving and handling, ventilation and oxygen therapy and providing emergency aid when required.
Training and Support:

All training must be completed before the start date, with training hours paid at minimum wage.
