Location: Ashford, Kent
Pay: £16.22 per hour (Monday to Friday days), £17.34 per hour (weekends and bank holidays),
£NLW (currently £12.21 for age 21+) per hour sleeping nights (Monday to Friday),
£NLW (£12.21) + £1 for sleeping nights on weekends and bank holidays.
Hours: Various shifts available: Term Time: Monday and Thursday 3pm - 8pm, Wednesday and Thursday nights 7:45pm - 9am, Saturday and Sunday days 8:15am - 9pm. During college holidays, various 12-hour shifts are available. Opportunity for permanent and bank hours.
Driver required? Essential
Using own vehicle for work purposes? Yes, on duty and for training. Must have business insurance.
Essential experience: Understanding of needs related to autism, learning difficulties, ADHD, speech and language delay, and hearing difficulties.
Desirable: Experience working with children with special needs (preferred but enthusiasm, patience, and willingness to learn are essential).
Pets: 1 dog

Description: I am a young man born in 2006 seeking a supportive, patient, and caring person to assist me as I transition into my own space. I live with my family and a dog in Ashford and will soon move nearby. I have autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, hearing impairment, and speech delay. I enjoy outings, music, gaming, and social activities. Your role will include personal care, supporting daily activities, and helping me participate in education and leisure activities. Once settled, you will assist with cooking and household chores. Reliability and building a good relationship are important, especially during holidays and cover shifts.
