Job description

The Support Services Team Leader will assist with the day-to-day management of the PAs supporting our client-facing teams and clients within Private Client Services. This includes developing and maintaining processes to improve service levels and cost-effectiveness. The role involves supervising, coordinating, and leading support functions, with a focus on continual performance improvement to ensure office efficiency.

You will be required to:

  • Lead the support team to ensure housekeeping is up to date and deadlines are met
  • Conduct 1:1s with team members, managing wellbeing, attendance, performance, and engagement
  • Conduct formal reviews and allocate performance gradings
  • Liaise with HR on formal issues
  • Share best practices nationally to improve administrative support quality
  • Support the development and rollout of new support initiatives and processes
  • Ensure quality and timeliness of work to meet SLAs and client commitments
  • Review and improve workflow, systems, and procedures; act as trouble-shooter
  • Prioritize office workload and support teams to ensure high service levels
  • Manage all administrative aspects, including word processing and telephone duties
  • Monitor performance and provide training/coaching to ensure acceptable performance levels, including managing appraisals and performance processes

About You

  • Experience in a leadership role, preferably in operations or professional services
  • Experience in Private Client Services within a law firm is desirable
  • Ability to work independently
  • Conference management experience
