Join us as a Support Service Worker (Resettlement) at Thirteen Group!
Role Overview:
Thirteen Group is on the lookout for a Support Service Worker to join our Refugee Resettlement Team based in Redcar. In this rewarding role, you’ll work directly with refugee families, offering tailored support to help them integrate into the local community. You’ll manage a caseload and deliver person-centred support planning and interventions, ensuring each individual receives the guidance they need.
This is a roaming role, meaning your work will primarily take place in customers’ homes, community centres, and our team office in Redcar and Cleveland. You’ll also have the opportunity to work from home a couple of days each month. Flexibility is key, as you may be required to attend the office more frequently depending on business and team needs.
Bilingual applicants fluent in Arabic, Dari, or Farsi are especially encouraged to apply, as these language skills would be highly beneficial in supporting our diverse customer base.
Our support provides a secure environment for refugees. This helps people to recover from their experiences, learn about the UK, develop trust in others and begin to rebuild their lives. If you’re passionate about making a true difference to peoples’ lives, then look no further!
