Job Description

Provide core technical support within the Design and Technology department and work flexibly across the school within all technician disciplines.

Responsible for whole-school technical support in Design and Technology, Science, and Digital Technology, with due regard for Health and Safety.

Ensure the most efficient range of support services are provided in an organized manner.

This position primarily supports practical work within the Design and Technology department, including woodworking, metalwork, and design and manufacture. Appropriate qualifications and experience include mechanical engineering, joinery/woodworking, metalworking, or mechanical maintenance.

Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme is essential upon appointment. Successful candidates will be required to pay for PVG membership or scheme checks.
