Job Description

Provide core technical support within the Design and Technology department and work flexibly across the school within all technician disciplines.

Responsible for whole-school technical support in Design and Technology, Science, and Digital Technology, with regard to Health and Safety.

Ensure the most efficient support services are provided in an organized manner.

This position primarily involves supporting practical work within the Design and Technology department, such as Woodworking, Metalwork, and Design and Manufacture.

Qualifications and experience relevant to this role include mechanical engineering, joinery/woodworking, metalworking, and mechanical maintenance.

Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme is essential upon appointment. Successful candidates will be responsible for the cost of PVG membership or scheme checks.
