Job description

I am delighted to be partnering exclusively with one of Cambridge's most prestigious and well-regarded independent schools in their search for a Supporter Relations Assistant to join their busy and dynamic Development Team.

This is an exciting newly-created role that will play a vital part in the smooth running of the Development Office, supporting both fundraising and alumni engagement activity. If you enjoy working with data and analytics while also contributing to relationship-building and philanthropic initiatives, this could be a fantastic opportunity for you.

As Supporter Relations Assistant, you will provide crucial administrative and research support, ensuring the team operates efficiently and effectively. You will also play an integral role in helping the school deliver its mission of offering transformational bursary places to deserving students by enabling meaningful connections with alumni and supporters.

Key aspects of the role include:

  • Administrative support for fundraising and alumni relations activities
  • Data management, research, and reporting to underpin strategic engagement
  • Assisting with communication and events to foster strong supporter relationships

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Enjoy working with data and have an interest in analytics
  • Be personable with good communication skills to support relationship-building
  • Have experience with Raiser's Edge (advantageous but not essential)

This is a part-time, permanent position, working three full days per week - Thursdays are required, with flexibility for the other two days.
