Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is seeking an organised and committed Safeguarding Officer for a prominent Birmingham secondary school to support safeguarding and pastoral provision.

You’ll work with the DSL and pastoral team to identify and record safeguarding concerns, maintain CPOMS records, coordinate referrals, and support safeguarding meetings while promoting best practice across the school.

Qualifications

• Previous school safeguarding or child protection experience is essential.
• Must be calm under pressure and highly organised.
• Experience with multi-agency working is advantageous.
