Job summary

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland is seeking a compassionate Waken Nights Support Practitioner to join our growing team in Glenrothes. This full-time role (39 hours per week) involves supporting service users in their own homes during the night, with a preference for a driving licence though not essential.

You will contribute to personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks, while building a positive, person-centred approach to care.

  • Complete checks and monitor welfare throughout the night.
  • Attend training and onboarding as required.

Due to continued expansion, our fantastic team are on the lookout for a compassionate and creative individual with a positive attitude to join us as Waken Nights Support Practitioner on a full-time basis (39 hours per week), based in Glenrothes.

A driving licence is preferred for this role but not essential.

About Us:

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland provides personalised and outcome-focused support to over 2800 individuals in their own homes across Scotland, making us the country's largest provider of social care. We support individuals with a variety of different needs such as physical and/or learning disabilities, ongoing mental health issues, alcohol or substance abuse and autism. Some of the people we support can present challenging behavior or require a high level of personal care.

The Role:

As a Support Practitioner, you will support service users in their own homes. Their support needs include personal care, preparing breakfast, completing household tasks and checks throughout the night.

Requirements:

The shift times are 8pm-7am, working three shifts one week and four shifts the week after. There will be an expectation to work day shifts upon starting in the role to undertake training.
