Job summary

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland Limited is seeking compassionate Support Practitioners in Braidwood to assist individuals living in their own homes with disabilities and additional support needs. You will help with daily tasks, medication and finances, meal preparation, cooking and personal care, while supporting hobbies and community activities.

No care experience is required; we provide full training including a funded SVQ.

Qualifications

• No care experience required; training provided including a fully funded SVQ.
• You should be empathetic, observant, and able to communicate clearly with clients and colleagues.
• Strong organisational skills and confidence using computers are important for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals living in their own homes with disabilities and/or additional support needs in daily tasks, including medication and finances, housework, meal preparation, cooking and personal care.
• Support hobbies and activities chosen by the people we support, encouraging engagement with community activities and social outings.
