Job Description:

Full time (37.5 hours) and part time roles available.

Would you like to work with vulnerable people in your local community and make a real difference?

Are you seeking a new start in the upcoming year? Do you enjoy forming relationships and being a people person?

Join our NEW Homecare Mobile team in Oban! We offer various shifts to gain valuable experience in different settings.

We seek nurturing and supportive individuals who can work closely with colleagues as part of a team, providing high-quality care to help reduce unplanned hospital and care home admissions. You will support individuals who lack access to regular care in their own homes.

Our care-at-home service helps people stay in their homes by assisting with daily living tasks. Our approach is to work with clients to support them, not do things for them, tailoring support to individual needs.

Mobile care support is new to Argyll & Bute. The service aims to:

  • Help people return home safely and stay well from hospital, reducing re-admissions.
  • Provide short-term care-at-home, assessing individual needs for optimal support now and in the future.

Additional Benefits:

  • 35 days holiday per year
  • Fully funded SVQ qualification with dedicated support
  • Enhanced maternity, paternity, adoption, and sick leave
  • A Defined Contribution pension scheme with employer contributions
  • Membership to Telus; employee well-being and perks platform
  • Membership of a credit union
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Discounts with leading hotels
