Join The Richmond Fellowship Scotland as a Support Practitioner in Angus and help support those who need it most in our communities. We provide essential services in Arbroath, Carnoustie, Monifieth, Forfar, Montrose, and Kirriemuir - and we'd love for you to be part of our team!

Driver Only Positions

Due to the location of our services, a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.

No Experience? No Problem!

We provide full training through our award-winning Learning & Development team before you start. This includes classroom-based sessions, e-learning modules, shadowing experienced Support Practitioners to gain hands-on experience. This ensures you feel confident and well-prepared in your new role.

Flexible Working Opportunities

  • Full-Time, Part-Time, and Bank Roles Available
  • Though this particular role is 9am-5pm

About the Role

As a Support Practitioner, Your Responsibilities May Include

  • Social Support - Helping individuals engage with their communities by planning and attending outings such as day centres, cinema, swimming, and other leisure activities.
  • Medical Support - Administering and monitoring medication.
  • Personal Care - Supporting wellbeing by assisting with bathing, dressing, incontinence care, and arranging healthcare appointments.
  • Practical Support - Encouraging daily household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, ironing, cooking, and shopping to help individuals maintain their tenancy.
