We are looking for aFull-Time Male Support Practitionerto join our Dundee services and help support those who need it most in our communities.

No Experience? No Problem!

No prior experience in care is required! Ouraward-winning Learning & Development teamwill provide you with full training before you start. Training includes classroom-based sessions, e-learning, and the opportunity toshadow experienced Support Practitionerswhile meeting the people you will be supporting.

We alsofully fund and supportyou to achieve yourSVQ Level 2 Health and Social Carequalification in-house!

About the Role

As a Support Practitioner, your responsibilities may include:

  • Social Support- Helping individuals engage with their communities through activities such as day centres, cinema trips, swimming, and other leisure outings.
  • Medical Support- Administering and monitoring medication.
  • Personal Care- Assisting with personal hygiene, dressing, arranging medical visits, and incontinence care.
  • Practical Support- Encouraging daily household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, ironing, cooking, and shopping.
  • Supporting Individuals with Challenging Behaviour- Providing compassionate and patient assistance when needed.

Shift Flexibility

You must be flexible, as shifts will vary and may includeearly, back, late, and sleepover shifts.
