Job summary

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland in Cumbernauld is seeking compassionate Support Practitioners to help adults living in their own homes with disabilities. You will support daily living tasks, including personal care, finances, meals, and household chores, while promoting independence.

This is a female-only role requiring a full UK manual licence and access to your own car, 37.5 hours per week, with opportunities for ongoing training and career progression in social care.

Responsibilities

Our fantasticteam in Cumbernauld are on the lookout for compassionate and creative individuals with a positive attitude to join them as Support Practitioners.

The Role

Due to the nature of the role we are only able to accept female applicants that hold a full Uk manual licence and access to their own car.

Please note this role is for 37.5 Hours

As a Support Practitioner, you will assist individuals living in their own homes with disabilities and/or additional support needs in all aspects of their daily lives, including support with medication and finances, housework, meal preparation, cooking and personal care. In some instances significant moving and handling support may be necessary however appropriate training will be provided. The people we support have a variety of different hobbies which we'll be looking to you to take an active interest in, from going out for a tasty bite or catching the latest movie to a gym session or group activity, the list is endless.
