A caregiving organization in Shotts is seeking a female Support Practitioner to assist individuals with disabilities in daily life. Our fabulous Wishaw team is looking for compassionate, creative individuals with a positive attitude to join us as Support Practitioners. No prior care experience is necessary; we recruit based on values and transferable skills. We will provide all the training you need, including a fully funded SVQ.
Due to the nature of the role, we can only accept female applicants who drive and have access to their own vehicle.
This post is for 25 to 35 hours per week. As a Support Practitioner, you will assist individuals living in their own homes with disabilities and/or additional support needs in all aspects of daily life, including medication and finances support, housework, meal preparation, cooking, and personal care.
The people we support have various hobbies, and we encourage you to take an active interest in them, from outings to dining, movies, gym sessions, or group activities—the possibilities are endless.
