Job Description:

Are you looking to start a new job with satisfaction that you might find elsewhere?

We are seeking new female colleagues to join our dedicated team at #TeamParkvale in Longside on a part-time (16-30 hours per week) or relief basis.

The Role

You will be part of a friendly team supporting five individuals with learning and physical disabilities to live in their own shared home. Your support will include assistance with daily living activities such as cooking, cleaning, managing finances, medication, and personal care. You will also engage with their hobbies and interests, including arts & crafts, walking, social events, and activities. As swimming is a regular activity, confidence in the pool is required.

About You

No prior experience is necessary; we recruit based on values and will provide all necessary training. We also offer to fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and cover yearly SSSC registration fees. However, a driving license and access to your own vehicle are required due to the rural location of our service.

What we need you to bring:

  • A caring and compassionate attitude
  • The ability to work well in a team
  • Confidence in swimming activities
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Confidence in using computers
  • Cooking skills (baking is a plus!)
  • A full driving license and access to your own vehicle

If successful, you will need to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting employment.

Cornerstone values diversity and encourages applications from all community sections to enhance our workforce.
