We’re recruiting for motivated and understanding female colleagues with a creative mindset to join our fabulous team as full-time Support Practitioners.
For this role, it is essential that you hold a full UK, manual driving licence with a minimum of 1 year's driving experience, as the young lady will be getting her own mobility car.
You don’t need previous experience in care to join our team, as we recruit on values and transferable skills. We provide full training along with the opportunity for you to complete your SVQ.
You will be joining our friendly team, supporting 4 individuals in their own flats who have Autism and epilepsy. This role will primarily involve supporting a young lady in her early 20s, moving into her first home after living with her parents. Your role as a Support Practitioner will involve providing transitional support to help her learn essential life skills, such as managing her own home, increasing her confidence and independence. All flats are within walking distance.
As a Support Practitioner, your main responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication management, attending appointments, managing personal finances, and personal care prompts. You will support her in exploring hobbies like jigsaw puzzles and movies, and help her engage with her community.

Our team provides 24/7 support, including weekends and holidays. Shifts include day shifts of 12-13 hours starting at 8am or 9am, and waking night shifts from 8pm to 9am.
