Job summary

Ark Housing Association in Edinburgh is recruiting Full time & Part time Support Practitioner roles across six services. Salaries are pro rata with a Real Living Wage and progression after probation. Roles involve supporting people with varied needs, from short social support to 24-hour care, in on-site services across the city.

Applicants should be prepared for in-person interviews, with a standard probation period and eligible for the Real Living Wage and progression to £26,526.23 pro rata.

Earn up to £26,526.23 per year pro rata

At Ark, all Support Practitioners are paid at least the Real Living Wage, currently £13.45 per hour (£25,947.47 pro rata).

After successfully completing your probation period, your hourly rate increases to £13.75 (£26,526.23 pro rata).

Ark is recruiting Full time & Part time Support Practitioner at our 6 services across Edinburgh.

Located throughout the city our services support people with a variety of support needs, from a couple of hours a week social support to 24 hour a day care.

Key duties include

• Working with colleagues as part of an effective and efficient team to support vulnerable people.
• Communicate and work well with our supported people to provide individual care and maintain appropriate relationships.
• Being responsible in supporting individuals throughout the activities, giving positive feedback and encouragement.
• Updating and maintaining accurate records using a tablet on Arks Information Management system.
