Our amazing #TeamFirbank are now on the look out for positive, patient and flexible new colleague to join them in Balmore, East Dunbartonshire on a permanent full time ( 39 or 30 hours per week) basis. For this opportunity holding a full driving licence (manual) would beneficial but not essential.

The Role

You'll become part of a fun, friendly well established team who provide high quality, person-centered support to four individuals. The great thing about this job is that no two days are ever the same. As a Support Practitioner, you'll support them with their day to day personal needs, including meal planning, cooking, housework, personal care, moving and assisting and medication.

The people we support enjoy being part of their local community, so we're looking for you to be enthusiastic about attending local events in the community, gardening, swimming (being a confident swimmer would be beneficial to the people we support due to them attending hyrdotherapy), attending hydrotherapy and getting out for nature walks in the local area. With interests such as films, trains and holidays, there is always something to talk about over a cup of tea!

Cornerstone offers great learning opportunities for those who have limited experience in social care and also offer career progression to build upon experience and develop your working practice in the role.

Shift Patterns

As we provide dedicated around the clock support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, we work on a rotational basis and shifts can include 7am-3pm, 1pm-9pm and we also offer sleepover and night shifts.
