Look no further as we're seeking individuals to join our fantastic #TeamAngus in Portlethen on a 20, 25, or 30 hours per week, permanent basis.
Angus Court is a busy housing support service. As a Support Practitioner, no two days are ever the same; you'll be part of a fun, friendly team supporting seven individuals with diverse needs. Your main responsibilities will include assisting with shopping, finances, cooking, appointments, personal care, and housework.
We encourage enthusiasm and creativity in supporting hobbies and interests such as socialising, bowling, arts & crafts, soaps, and going to discos.
Ideally, you will have experience in a caring/supportive role. However, comprehensive training and a supportive team will be provided. Understanding the importance of routines and guidelines is essential.
We will pay you during training, fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification, and cover your yearly SSSC registration fees.
Due to our service's location, if you do not live in or around Portlethen and are not a driver with access to your own vehicle, please consider your ability to travel for shifts, as public transport links are limited.
We offer around-the-clock support, including weekends and public holidays. Typical shifts are between 0800-2200 hours and may involve sleepovers on a rotational basis. Sleepovers are not included in contracted hours but are paid at £100.80 per night.

We aim to fill vacancies quickly and may close the advert early if suitable candidates are found. Successful applicants will join the PVG scheme and work towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare, with support from our Training Academy. Registration with the SSSC is required within 3 months of employment.
