Job summary

Turning Point Scotland in Dundee is seeking a Support Practitioner to join our Learning Disabilities service on a permanent basis. The role can be full-time, part-time or relief hours, with a salary of £25,878 – £26,843 per year.

You will provide practical and emotional support to adults with diverse needs, working 1:1 or in small teams to help service users access education, employment and social activities.

Qualifications

• No previous working experience is needed; full training will be provided.

Our Turning Point Scotland Services in Dundeeare looking for people like you to help provide individualised support to adults with a wide range of needs, either on an individual 1:1 basis or alongside others and as part of a team.

Turning PointScotland‘s Dundee service provides support to individuals with a variety of support needs including learning disability, physical disability, autism, mental healthillnessand community justice. We provide supported living services, housingsupportand day opportunities to promote independence and choice to individualsin order toenable them to access everyday life experiences including access to education,employmentand social activities. We will also provide support with developing relationships andmaintaininga home. We work in partnership with service users, their families, health teams, social workteamsand advocacy.

The support we provide is always person centred, we do this by involving people who know the person well, this includes family and friends, other health and Social Work professionals, Advocacy services and our own staff members.

No previous working experience is needed;full training will be provided to you. We believe having the right values of respect, compassion, inclusion and integrity is all you need to join our team! We would offer you full support in completing your application.
