Our team and the people we support

You'll become part of a friendly, fun team supporting nine individuals with various support needs to live in their own flats within the same supported living complex. Every day is different at Fairfield, and support is centered around helping individuals identify and work towards their personal goals. We develop personal plans reflecting their choices, needs, and capabilities.

You will support individuals in managing their homes, increasing and maintaining independence, and encouraging personal care and social, health, and wellbeing needs. Additionally, you'll help them access leisure activities, engage in meaningful hobbies, and participate in community activities that matter to them.

About You

At Cornerstone, we value your personality over experience and qualifications. We will provide training and fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification. All we ask is that you bring:

• A caring and compassionate attitude
• The ability to work well in a team
• Confidence to participate in water-based activities like swimming
• Good communication and organizational skills
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Confidence in using computers

Having a full clean driving license and at least one year of road experience is desirable, as some supported individuals have mobility cars, but this is not essential for the right candidate.

Shift Patterns

Shifts will include early mornings, days, evenings, and waking nights, with rotations covering weekends and public holidays. Night shifts are paid at the usual rate plus an additional £20 per night. Please note, these posts are not suitable for those on college or university timetables.
