Job summary

Davidsons Chemists is seeking a GPhC Registered Support Pharmacist Manager to cover planned days off across our 58 pharmacies in Scotland. The role offers varied environments, leadership responsibilities and collaboration with an experienced operations network.

You will travel between branches, lead teams, ensure safe, high‑quality services and support NHS Pharmacy First Plus while maintaining patient‑centred care.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmacist and management cover where needed across multiple branches.
• Support branches during annual leave, planned days off and other periods of cover.

• Collaborate with Operations Team and pharmacist network to share best practices.
• Lead, mentor and support branch teams to maintain service quality.

It’s about supporting patients, leading teams and providing healthcare that people genuinely value.We’re looking for a GPhC Registered Support Pharmacist Manager to work across our pharmacies in Tayside, Perthshire and Forth Valley, providing cover for planned days off, annual leave and other branch requirements.Your working days and branches will be coordinated by our Support Pharmacist Coordinator, giving you a planned rota while still enjoying the variety that comes from working across different pharmacies, teams and communities.This is a varied role for someone who enjoys working with different teams, adapting to different pharmacy environments and bringing confident leadership wherever they are needed.Please note: This role is only open to pharmacists registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). Applications from candidates who are not GPhC registered or eligible for registration cannot be considered.
