Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Council Tax team. The role will play a key part in the administration of Council Tax.

You will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of administration tasks and supporting the wider Council Tax team. This role includes dealing with the incoming and outgoing mail on a daily basis, scanning and indexing mail to customer accounts. It will include setting up Direct Debits on Council Tax accounts. You will be responsible for ordering stationery. Administration of basic Council Tax accounts.

You should be organised with the ability to multitask, have excellent communication skills, You should be able to work independently and have good attention to detail. You should have the ability to handle confidential information

The successful candidate will be required to complete a Level 1 Disclosure Scotland check. If your application is progressed after the interview, you will be invited to complete the form and have your details verified.
