Job summary
The Planned Care Service Group are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and suitably qualified Support Medical Secretary to support the Ophthalmology Service.
The post holder will be required to work on their own initiative within a team and demonstrate excellent typing , flexibility, communication and organisational skills.
The post holder must be IT literate and it would be an advantage if the post holder was familiar with NHS information systems such as WPAS (Myrddin).
Main duties of the jobWelsh Skills Desirable: This post is advertised as Welsh Desirable. This doesn't mean essential; whilst the candidate doesn't need to have skills in Welsh, we'll consider it an advantage when short-listing and selecting candidates. This isn't 'fluency', just Speaking & Listening skills at Level 3 (equivalent to CEFR B2) or above. Level 3 means basic conversations with patients about their everyday health.
