Job description
Overview

Strathblane Primary School are looking for a part time Support for Learning Assistant to join our team. This post is a temporary post of 27.5 hours per week.

The successful candidate will be fully involved in the life and work of the school, providing invaluable support and contributing to the high quality care and education of our children.

Applications are welcomed from enthusiastic and committed individuals with experience of working with children of different ages and abilities. You will work within an enthusiastic and hard working team to support children with their learning opportunities that are part of a high quality and child centred education.

The successful candidate will be reliable, patient and an innovative practitioner who is able to work well with others. In addition they will have good communication and organisational skills, a positive and solution focussed attitude, and show a commitment to ongoing professional development.

The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for Children. If your application is progressed after the interview, you will be asked to complete the form and have your details verified.
