A leading council in Scotland is looking for a part-time Nursery Support role at Colquhoun Park Primary. This position involves assisting children with additional support needs, offering personal care and support under teacher guidance. Salary: £23,942.69 - £26,023.07 per year (pro rata)

This temporary position offers a pro-rated salary for part-time and term-time hours.
You will support children and young people with additional support needs at Colquhoun Park Primary.
Your responsibilities include personal care and needs of pupils under the guidance of the class/subject teacher, assisting with learning activities, following instructions, organizing work, and supervising pupils outside the classroom (playground, corridors, dining area, PE, trips).
Applicants should have a pleasant, tolerant manner and demonstrate the ability to build positive relationships with children and young people. Experience working with children with additional support needs and an interest in their development is essential. A relevant childcare qualification is desirable.
All roles within East Dunbartonshire Council requiring PVG/Disclosure checks will adhere to the following criteria:
Successful candidates for Regulated Roles under the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020 must join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check before employment is confirmed. The cost of the check will be deducted from the first salary payment, with possible instalment arrangements approved by HR & OD. If employment ends before deduction, the full amount will be deducted from the final salary.
